We're excited to reveal that timeless classics and new favorites grace our list. See how the best Burger King menu items are ranked by food enthusiasts across seven websites below. Top 6 Burger King Menu Items, Crowned by Foodies

1. Whopper

The Whopper has been the best seller for the fast food chain since its founding in 1957, so having another item top our list would be sacrilegious. What's the secret to the hamburger's long-time success? Cameo Cafe is convinced it lies in the juicy four oz. flame-grilled beef patties. Add the crispy toppings and a toasted sesame seed bun, and you have fast food perfection.

Burger King still embraces its old motto “Have It Your Way,” encouraging customers to customize their orders, according to Watch Mojo. Feel free to add or subtract toppings or even toss on some bacon or cheese for an upcharge. At 667 calories and 40 grams of fat before fries, it's a meal all by itself.

The whopper may look more appealing on television than it does when you unwrap it, but Mashed assures us you won't be disappointed by the taste. The fresh lettuce and tomatoes complement the beef beautifully, and the added crunch from the pickles and onions enhances the texture. The ketchup and mayo perfectly round out the flavors. You don't need to add anything else, but you can if you want!

2. Double Whopper

If a single Whopper isn't enough to fill your tummy, you'll get double the delight with the Double Whopper. The double patties aren't greasy and contain the “right amount of char.” Eat This, Not That only wishes the cheese came standard.

UPROXX agrees the extra patty elevates the Whopper to new heights, making it feel more substantial than the Double Quarter Pounder at McDonald's. If it's still not big enough, you can always order the Triple Whopper.

Not too hungry but craving a WhopperRestaurant Clicks suggests sharing the Double with a friend. It's more cost-effective than ordering two singles, and you'll enjoy all the flavor without any waste.

3. Bacon King

There isn't a single veggie on this meat lover's burger — not even a pickle — but no one's complaining. The bacon is solid, but Eat This, Not That admits it's not spectacular. Price-wise, it's more than a Double Whopper but less than a Triple. Given its size, you might consider splitting it with someone or saving half for later.

The Bacon King is Burger King's response to Wendy's Baconator, and it's proven it's staying power since its debut in 2016. You're likely to get a fresh one, but bear in mind it packs a hefty 1150 calories and 79 grams of fat. If you throw in a soda and fries, the calorie count climbs even higher — so Restaurant Clicks suggests you might want to pencil in a workout later in the day!

Mashed suggests you bring along your cardiologist if you order the Bacon King because it's a “deliciously guilty pleasure.” Like the Whopper, it too looks better in pictures than in real life, but who cares if it tastes good!

4. Chicken Fries

Introduced in 2005 to cater to more of an adult pallet, the Chicken Fries became a menu staple in 2015. According to Cameo Cafe, they're tastier than nuggets and chicken tenders, because they're made with real chicken, not meat paste, and are seasoned better. Because they're shaped like fries, they're easy to eat and dip in your favorite sauce.

If you're after a great breading-to-chicken ratio, Chicken Fries are the way to go. Originally designed for adults, they've become a fan favorite for all ages. Plus, Mashed says the quirky container adds a touch of humor.

There's nothing funny about how much people love these Chicken Fries. UPROXX calls them “incredibly zesty” and believes they pair perfectly with the fast food chain's BBQ sauce.

5. Croissan'wich

This is the only BK breakfast item that makes our list and it's the flaky, croissant bun that makes it worthy. Mashed appreciates how customizable the Croissan'wich is, but recommends you stay about from the Double Sausage, which tends to overpower the bun. Also, consider holding the ham and you'll have a real winner!

Shopfood on the other hand loves the fully loaded version, saying it will fill you up and is delicious. It's packed with enough protein to keep you going until lunch.

Burger King's Croissan'wich rises to the top of the crowded breakfast scene. Watch Mojo says few other breakfast sandwiches are even in the race. Pair it up with a cup of joe and you have perfection.

6. Impossible Whopper

Where's the beef? Certainly not in this Impossible Burger that's hard not to love. It comes with all the same fixings as the traditional version. Shopfood acknowledges that it delivers a gratifying experience for those seeking the quintessential Burger King taste — just without the meat.

The plant-based Whopper, introduced in 2019, is so similar to the original that you might need a magnifying glass to spot the differences. According to Eat This, Not That, it's an excellent beef alternative for vegetarians. However, meat eaters might prefer sticking with the classic beef Whopper.

These patties are typically grilled alongside the beef burgers, but customers who prefer to avoid cross-contact with meat products can request that their burgers be microwaved instead. The Impossible Whopper is meat-free and suitable for vegetarians, though Restaurant Clicks says vegans should opt out of the mayonnaise due to its egg content.
